| 2010 Summer Missions
God has broadened and deepened our summer missions program into a year-round ministry. We're a crazy group of Christians serving the Lord: whatever, whenever & whenever! Our missionaries are teens, young adults and adults. Though most people are from our church, we have others who come from out of state or even out of country!

Grant Bright: New Orleans, LA Team 10 Testimony
These past ten days have been some of the best in my life! It was amazing. I knew I had a relationship with God, just not a strong one. After going to Winter Extreme twice I thought I was ready to go on a mission. I really didn’t know anyone going into it, but in the end I have forty-nine new friends.
This trip has changed my life, I have become way closer to my God, even though I was sick pretty much the whole time. It was still great. From Free Prayer to Intercessory Prayer, God never gave up on me.
I also worked on Ms. Libba’s it was really gross. I mean cockroaches, termites, and geckos aren’t the best. Also, this shed was pretty big and it was stacked top to bottom with garbage from a toilet to paint cans and even doors. But it was amazing how grateful she was that we were there.
Another thing that happened down there was that I learned how to freestyle rap which was an adventure in itself. But every night we did worship which was amazing. Adam Smyth and Jason Liuzzi were awesome. It was a great time to open up to God, whether its praying, resting, or reading it’s amazing. The Center or in New Orleans the “Centa” was a great place to stay with Dawnell. Woah she is a crazy woman but it’s fun to be with her. Also, Father Perera and Father Lance both warmed up to us and were excited.
New Orleans is a great city but needs a lot of rebuilding still and a ton of God and Holy Spirit needs to be brought back. It has been an amazing experience. I love and am really close with God and I love this mission trip so much I will never forget them.

Alexis Magnuson – 2nd Year Missionary - Fort Apache, Arizona
"Praise the Lord, for He is Good! His faithful love endures forever! Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord? Who can praise His name enough?" Fort Apache, Arizona is a place for miracles - miracles that prove God's existence and speak of His Love.
The biggest miracle of all though, jumped into my lap and smiled straight into my eyes, stealing my heart - on day one. A little ten-year-old girl Dada, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, changed my life forever. She could only speak through sign language but still her lessons will remain with me forever. She taught me lessons of a childlike faith. In the Scripture it reads, "I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child, will never enter it." Anytime I signed "Jesus" to Dada, she smiled wide and pumped her arms up and down excitedly. Whenever she saw a cross, she reached out for it eagerly. Her faith was the greatest example of the innocent love we should always have for Jesus.
Dada is also blessed with healing power. Many wounds that I had been dealing with were patched up and healed by such a precious girl. Anytime I felt troubled, she sensed it, grabbed my face in between her hands until she felt I had calmed down. Such an adorable little face, such a tremendous spirit in an unexpected place.
On the reservation, I witnessed more than I could've ever imagined, and Dada will always be in my heart. She is the reason I now and always will have compassion for the Native Americans of the Fort Apache Reservation. I believe that we all have something to teach and we all have something to learn. Short-term mission trips with our church are the greatest opportunities for those who feel they have something missing in their lives. All of the holes in my heart are filled. I don't think I'll ever be the same. I thank God for his presence in Fort Apache, for his presence in Dada, and for his presence in my heart.
I'll always be praying that you and the Apaches will feel him too."
